Learn the signs of coronavirus. According to CDC, symptoms such as cough, fever, and shortness of breath could signal an infection. If you experience these symptoms, call your doctor for medical advice. Only seek immediate medical attention for emergency warning signs such as chest pain, inability to arouse, difficulty breathing, or blue color in the lips or face.
Please note that symptoms may not appear until fourteen days after exposure to the virus. This is why social distancing is especially crucial at this time. It can be very easy to spread COVID-19 when you are unaware you have it. Avoid crowds and public restrooms. Postpone travel plans and work from home. Use extreme caution when interacting with those who are elderly or have a pre-existing medical condition. If possible, designate an area of your home as a protected space for any vulnerable members of your household.
Be diligent about personal hygiene. Wash hands frequently, for 20 minutes at a time.
